Byron Middleton memorial concert will raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis NZ

Madcap Music in association with F.G. Smith Eatery and Aroha in Napier will transform both spaces into a concert style venue on Saturday July 20 to help raise money for Cystic Fibrosis NZ in memory of beloved brother, son and friend to many in Hawke’s Bay, Byron ‘Byza’ Middleton.

The evening will be headlined by funky soul and boogie dub specialists Tropical Downbeat Orchestra, who have been lighting up dance floors for over 15 years. Based in Hawke’s Bay, collectively TDO is a fun loving family who share a passion for music.

Also taking the stage will be good friends of Byza, Paul Lowe and Joe Bicknell – performing an all acoustic set, Gareth Dobson bringing his house DJ flavour to the decks, James Whitchelo throwing down a liquid D&B set, and DJ Lil Bastard.

Smiths will have a fantastic selection of tasty food and beverages on offer and Aroha will be decked out with stage and lighting.

$2 of every ticket will be donated to Cystic Fibrosis NZ and you can make additional donations via the ticketing site or on the night.

The event starts at 7.30pm and tickets are on sale now from www.madcapmusic.co.nz or in stores.
