EIT to host Info and Enrolment Day
People who are looking to change careers, advance their existing skills, or learn something new are invited to come along to EIT’s Info and Enrolment Day.
The open day will be held on Thursday, January 28, at either the Hawke’s Bay campus in Taradale or the regional learning centres in Hastings, Maraenui and Central Hawke’s Bay (CHB).
Future students and their families will have the chance to find out about the broad range of qualifications as well as new programmes like the level 4 NZ Certificate in Outdoor and Adventure Education (offered from February), the level 4 apprenticeship-like, part-time NZ Certificate in Cookery (offered from February), or the Plant-Based Cookery Training Scheme (offered from March).
EIT also offers a broad variety of fees-free, part-time, full-time, and online options.
Experts will be on hand to give a tour around campus and provide information about various scholarships such as the Māori and Pasifika Trades Training, the Government Fees Free Scholarship, and many more.
People who are unsure of what to study have the chance to chat with careers counsellor Eddie Carson.

• Hawke’s Bay Campus: Thursday, January 28 from 9am to 6pm.
• Regional Learning Centres - Hastings, Maraenui and CHB: Thursday, January 28 from 9am to 3pm.
