Man arrested arrested after alleged rampage on police patrol car in Hastings
A 22-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly breaking the windows of a police patrol car in Hastings.
A police spokeswoman said they were called to the incident shortly after 10am at Hastings Police Station.
The man used an metal bar to damage the parked car.
The police spokeswoman said the offender then fled the scene but was quickly located and arrested.
A 22-year-old man has been charged with willful damage and possessing an offensive weapon. He is due to appear on 18 December.
