Serious crash on SH2 in Waipawa
Police are responding to a two-vehicle crash in Waipawa.
The crash, involving a car and a truck, occurred on State Highway 2 at about 7.40am.
One person has sustained serious injuries and a rescue helicopter is responding.
Police have asked motorists to avoid the area.
The Serious Crash Unit has been notified.
