Napier World Triathlon Cup a success!
The Napier World Triathlon Cup, held in Napier this weekend, has been deemed a success, with Triathlon New Zealand thanking the city for hosting the event.
Napier was a hive of activity as an elite group of athletes take part in the World Triathlon Cup and Age Group World Champs this weekend.
The 2024 Napier World Triathlon Cup is a sprint distance triathlon - 750m swim, 20km cycle and 5km run. The event was held at Perfume Point and the surrounding area of Napier. The 2024 event was part of a Triathlon Festival with the NZ Sprint Distance Championships,
In a Facebook post after the event, Triathlon New Zealand said: “How good was Napier's debut on the World Triathlon circuit? This good!”
